Natalya helps clients daily with trademark law questions and projects. Natalya has deep knowledge and extensive experience in the registration of trademarks with the United States Patent and Trademark Office, the Tennessee Department of State, and foreign trademark registries. Natalya also counsels clients on the issues of transfer, licensing and management of their intellectual property. In addition, she assists clients in the enforcement and defense of their intellectual property rights, through facilitating anti-counterfeiting efforts, and bringing and defending trademark and copyright infringement claims, and claims for misappropriation of rights of publicity.

Natalya has been a regular contributer to the legal column in MusicRow magazine. Her articles for MusicRow have focused on the protection of personal names under the Federal Trademark Dilution Act, on the actions under the Trademark Counterfeiting Act against unauthorized merchandise sales at concert venues, and on the rapidly-increasing set of issues, and the ever-changing laws, that entertainers — and other enterprises — face in the digital space.

Natalya has been a regular speaker and panelist on intellectual property and e-commerce topics, including at Entertainment & Technology Law Conference Series presented by NARM and digitalmusic.org, and the Nashville Bar Association’s Annual Entertainment Law in Review. Natalya was a three-term President and Board Chair of Alliance Française de Nashville and its sister organization Alliance Française Cultural & Educational Fund, a member chapter of the nation-wide Alliance Française États-Unis and the world-wide Alliance Française, and served on AFN’s Board of Directors for nearly a decade.
